Refund Policy
Fourteen days, no reason needed.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
The short version
If BugCatch is not right for you, email support@bugcatch.app within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.
Who processes the refund
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for every BugCatch order, so refunds are issued by Paddle back to the original payment method. You can request one either from us or directly through the Paddle receipt you were emailed. Money typically arrives within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
After 14 days
- Monthly plans: cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and the following month is not charged. We do not pro-rate part-months.
- Annual plans: we will consider a pro-rated refund of the unused months. Write to us and tell us what happened.
- Extended outages or a fault on our side: contact us. We would rather make it right than argue about the window.
Cancelling
Open Settings → Billing in the app and use Manage to cancel through the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not automatically refund the period already paid for.
When a paid plan ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted at that moment, but Free keeps a shorter event history, so older events are removed by the next scheduled cleanup. Export anything you need first.
The free trial
Every new account gets 14 days of the Pro plan without a card. Nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund - the account simply moves to Free when the trial ends.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A refund is faster for you and cheaper for us, and we have never refused a reasonable request.
