Terms of Service
The rules for using BugCatch, in plain language.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
BugCatch ("BugCatch", "we", "us") is operated by Đorđije Lazarević, sole trader, Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. These terms govern your use of the BugCatch service at bugcatch.app and admin.bugcatch.app.
Payments are not made to us directly. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, sales tax and refund execution, and their Buyer Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase itself.
2. The service
BugCatch receives error, performance and uptime data that you send from your own applications, groups it into issues, and notifies you about it. Availability targets, quotas and retention depend on the plan you are on, as published on our pricing page.
3. Your account
- You must verify your email address before you can use the service.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials, DSNs and API keys confidential.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by your project members.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- send data you have no right to send, or that you are contractually barred from sharing with a third party;
- deliberately exceed or circumvent plan limits, rate limits or quotas;
- use the service to store special categories of personal data (health, biometric, political or similar) or payment card numbers;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to other customers' data;
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first.
5. Your data
You keep ownership of everything you send us. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Notice. We do not sell it, and we do not use your error data to train models.
Data is deleted according to the retention period of your plan. If your account moves to a lower plan, the shorter retention applies from that point on and older events are removed by our scheduled cleanup.
6. Plans, billing and trials
- New accounts receive a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. No card is required, and the account moves to the Free plan when the trial ends.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled.
- Prices are shown exclusive of VAT or sales tax, which Paddle calculates at checkout based on your location.
- If a payment fails, we keep your plan active while Paddle retries. If it keeps failing, the account moves to the Free plan.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
See our Refund Policy for refunds.
7. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the service and these terms. For changes that materially reduce what you receive, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account. Continuing to use BugCatch after a change takes effect means you accept it.
8. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or for losses arising because you relied on BugCatch as your only means of detecting a failure in your own systems.
9. Termination
You can stop using BugCatch and delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms. On termination, your data is deleted according to the retention rules above.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Osnovni sud u Bijeljini has exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
